![]() ![]() The inconsistency in connectivity is what is so annoying about this problem. Eventually it seems to stop and stay connected, but the problem always comes back again. It seems like it happens more when I haven't been using the headset, as weird as that sounds. It's worth noting that this doesn't always happen. It works fantastic, once the popping from the virtual surround sound was fixed in one of the Logitech Driver updates. My other Logitech peripherals don't act like this, and all the weird lag goes away as soon as I unplug the USB dongle. I have reproduced the issue on multiple systems and multiple operating systems. I think this is a driver issue in Windows 10, and well Windows 8 as well. the little USB receiver is what is continuously reconnecting and causing all sorts of problems. It doesn't matter if my headset is off/on, or charged/uncharged, plugged in or not. My issue is not with the headset reconnecting, but rather the USB dongle transceiver that comes with the headset. Actually the XML setting is already set at what is suggested in that thread, without me having done anything. The thread you linked does not have to do with my problem though. The wifi channel is an interesting thought. I have all of my software updated and again the exact same problem happens on two totally separate systems/headsets. Surely other people must have this issue as well, though I searched this subreddit and the only issues people seemed to be having were with the manifest file. I am talking about the USB receiver dongle is what is perpetually reconnecting at a very fast rate. They have a good microphone that filters a lot of noise, and they're fairly well built and comfortable with programmable buttons that gives them a lot more customization options than other gaming headsets. The problem is not my manifest or anything like that, again it occurs whether the headset is powered on or powered off. The Logitech G930 Wireless are good gaming headphones with an above-average sound and low latency. I did not used to have this problem at all but I started noticing it happening about half a year ago in Windows 8, and this has propagated onto fresh installs of Windows 10. I have not been able to figure out what the exact cause of the issue is, but I blame the drivers. Other times the headset does not continuously reconnect. Sometimes it reconnects so often that it actually causes severe lag with my keyboard input, imagine typing something and it takes a few seconds for the characters to show up after hitting the keys, we are talking some extreme lag. You can tell this is happening if you open the Logitech Gaming Software and see the headset appearing and then disappearing about 10 times per minute. Randomly the headset, even when powered off, will continuously disconnect and then reconnect. ![]() If you have any issues and you need help, just leave a comment down below!ĮDIT: After 9 months of this, I have realized it sounds a LOT better on 6 bass.I actually have two completely different systems, and both have different G930 headsets, and both Windows 10 systems experience the same infuriating problem. Right click on Speakers (Logitech G930/G35 Headset) and select properties.Ĭlick on the enhancements tab on the top.Ĭheck bass management, and then click on settings.Ĭhange the crossover to 20hz, room size to Home Theater and check Invert Subwoofer Polarity.Ĭheck the Speaker Fill box, and then apply again.Ĭongratulations! Your headset should have no bass distortion and should also sound better. Right click on the volume icon on your taskbar, and select playback devices. Go into surround sound settings and make sure the subwoofer is set to 11. Go into Logitech Gaming Software and set bass to 6 and treble to 12. If this doesnt work, kill Logitech Game Software too. Start Task Manager, select Processes, hit the 'L' key, find something along the lines of 'Logitech Surround Service', kill it. (You can turn it off if you want later, but it won't sound very good so I recommend you leave it on.) The following helped fix the problem of no audio for both myself and a friend: Verify Game (just in case). You'll need it on for the enhanced sound quality. I am using Windows 10 (64 bit) and LGS 8.70 (the most stable release that works for my g930s and g502 together) After some dinking around with settings, I have found a way to stop bass distortion and improve sound quality. I've seen many people that have issues with the G930/G35's bass distortion, and I had those issues too. ![]()
